"Giving Up" finds him gliding over a finger-snapping beat that eventually morphs into a booming clap, while on opener "ICE BOY", he rides a funky, confident new jack swing rhythm coated in chilly keyboard flourishes, which he uses as a space to sing about lost love until he sounds out of breath.
