Where once her music was shrouded in noise and coarse edges, Meg Remy’s sixth album as U.S. Girls is charged with seductive immediacy. In a Poem Unlimited serves up gliding disco (“M.A.H.”), sinuous soul (“Velvet 4 Sale”) and a blend of symphonic pop and shuffling beats (“Rosebud”).
