Though they hadn't been in this venerable Duranguense band for long, Vicky and Marisol Terrazas—daughters of original bandleader Armando Terrazas—were the runaway stars of this album. The sisters' voices add a fresh, youthful appeal. Whilst the arrangement on "Adiós Mi Tierra" is pure mariachi, with just horns and a tuba for bass, their harmonies make the sound more pop-friendly. On their cover of Selena's "Si la Quieres", the stripped-down, accordion-led arrangement allows for a heart-tugging vocal.
