On his third solo album, entirely produced by Mannie Fresh in true Cash Money fashion, the Birdman Jr.’s flows get freer and his storytelling grows more evocative. Wayne raps more confidently than ever on “Fo Sheezy”, a silver-tongued (and PG-13) update of The Name Game, and gets nostalgic about puppy love on “Young’n Blues”. “Way of Life” is the highlight, a smoothed-out riff on Big Tymers’ classic “Still Fly” with an unprecedentedly groovy Fresh beat.
