In November of 2022, Luis Alfonso Partida El Yaki put on another edition of Yakifest. The day-long música mexicana event took place in Mazatlán, and once again he has documented his performance there with a live album recorded at the festival. Joining him for the fifth instalment in this series are norteño singer Julio Preciado, Grammy-winning veteran vocalist Lupillo Rivera and Casimiro Zamudio’s Su Majestad Mi Banda el Mexicano, among others. Highlights of this spirited set peppered with boisterous applause include “Haciendo Ruido” with Régulo Caro and “Desahógate” with Jorge Medina of La Arrolladora Banda el Limón de René Camacho fame.
