Live albums have been part of Marca MP’s repertoire more or less since the beginning—even before 2020’s No Me Quejo and the Flores EP set the group on the path to stardom. A follow-up to Desde el Cantón, an eight-song set released during that same pivotal year, this second installment in the series rewards their day-one fans mere months after the full-length LEALTAD. Largely composed of cover songs, the 12-track effort finds a confident Chato applying his voice to material penned by the likes of Ariel Camacho and Leon Larregui, among others. He sounds truly lovelorn on “Lo Que Hay x Aquí” and the requinto-led ballad “Lejos,” yet corridos like “Y Me Ven” counter that with a bolder execution. A closing pair of cuts with Herencia De Grandes (“Buen Resultado”) and Herencia De Patrones (“Siempre Activo”) finish out the set from a position of considerable strength.
