That skill is on full display in her three-song Apple Music Sessions offering. She funks up garage track “52”, turns break-up bop “stop calling me” into a summer-ready beach anthem and gives one of her all-time favourite tunes—TLC’s R&B/pop classic “No Scrubs”, which she describes as “an iconic song that shaped my life”—a jungle-meets-drum ’n’ bass treatment. The results are both electric and eclectic.
