The Mexican star’s self-titled album progresses from the hard techno of opening track “Bombón” through confections in the modes of Eurodance and freestyle and on to ballads, such as “La soledad me matará”, which are more likely to inspire slow-dancing than fist-pumping. Along the way, it becomes clear Fey has the pipes to handle just about anything, and the sparkling vocal presence to make it a hit.
