The first of the four albums released by what would become the most internationally-known band in Spanish rock is, despite small flaws such as overproduction and a not-so-perfect sound, a collection of generational hymns that form a sentimental education for countless fans. Influenced by the dark pop of The Cure and Echo & The Bunnymen as well as the no-less-somber rock of Fields of the Nephilim and The Sisters of Mercy, the Zaragozans articulated muscular sonics around the cryptic and poetic lyrics of Enrique Bunbury. His distinctive voice and Juan Valdivia recognisable guitars straddle halfway between the intimate and epic in timeless cuts like “Mar Adentro”, "Héroe De Leyenda” and “Flor Venenosa”. And this was just the beginning….
