The Great Escape Artist represents the awakening of a sleeping giant. Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro and Stephen Perkins are joined by TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek, bassist Chris Chaney and producer Rich Costey (Muse, Radiohead) to record their first studio album since 2003 and bring Jane’s Addiction rock ’n’ roll circus into today. Farrell transfers his bank of knowledge forward on songs like “Irresistible Force” and “Curiosity Kills”. Costey and Sitek summon the hypnotic power of Navarro and Perkins on “Words Right Out of My Mouth”, “Underground” and “Twisted Tales”.
