Imogen Heap, Speak for Yourself Stevie Nicks, The Soundstage Sessions: Stevie Nicks (Live) Tegan and Sara, Sainthood these albums were deeply embedded in my childhood and have translated through the course of my life. all three artists embody autonomy, mysticism, and inextricable lyricism, vocals, and performance, while unequivocally being themselves.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Other Side” This is my first song on streaming platforms, so i am appreciative of the symbolism of firsts. this song also served as a cathartic writing experiment during a situationship that should have ended but continued out of fear.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? i had many chances to record and only of them them almost came to fruition, but due to the time of my life, that opportunity dwindled away. so, the other side's release solidified my place as an artist, and also served as a stepping stone.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? to produce an entire album, to become a better musician, to learn more as an audio engineer, and have my music reach some of my inspirations. i'd like to play NPR Tiny Desk, too. i feel like that would be a great place to peak.
