Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories was finally building up enough courage to play the drums for my mothers choir for choir rehearsal. I believe I was around 10 or 11 years old. I was terrified but I did it and the rest is history.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Dr. Dre, 2001 Marvin Sapp, Thirsty USHER, Confessions (Expanded Edition) Thirsty - By far was one of the best gospel albums ever written and produced. Confessions - Is definitely a classic RnB album. 2001 was a great record to me, very well produced by one of hip hops founding fathers DR. Dre. This record gets me going!
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Gotta Quit” I love Gotta Quit because it's the most unique, its honest and in your face. Unapologetic in all ways. It's definitely one of my favorites because of its unique lyrical content from start to finish.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career so far was my album release party where I performed all of the songs from the record for the very first time. It was a magical moment to say the least. I love the stage.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Oh yes! I'm just getting started as an artist so the sky is the limit. I can't wait to perform my music in front of millions on TV and headline my own tour around the world.
