About Call To The Void
Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest memories as a small child, no older than 5. I remember being driving in the car with my parents and frequently requesting to hear Ray Charles' 'Hit The Road Jack' Its energy did something to me and it still does today.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alanis Morissette, Jagged Little Pill (Remastered) My Ruin, The Horror of Beauty Stevie Nicks, Bella Donna (Deluxe Edition) 2016 Remaster Each of these albums represents a different time in my life, growing up and falling in love with music. To this day I still love every single song on each of these records and I remember exactly how I felt upon first hearing.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Blow” This was our second release as a band, we had such fun writing and recording it, it was somewhat experimental as we were figuring out our sound. It's a playful tale of inner conflict and hedonism.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing our debut show at the Famous 'WATER RATS' In London. We had such a great turn out and were so well received. It felt wonderful to be showcasing all our hard work.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We'd love the opportunity to play live at some bigger festivals. Download Festival and Glastonbury Festival are obviously on the list. Dream big.
