In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest music memory was my grandfather teaching me to play guitar. He had a Les Paul Gibson E335. The guitar case was velvet and I used to always strum his strings even though I wasn't supposed to.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Justin Timberlake, The 20/20 Experience (Deluxe Version) Kendrick Lamar, untitled unmastered. Smino, blkswn 20/20 Experience was the first album I bought. No skips there. Kendrick's Untitled Unmastered got me through a difficult time in my life where I was confused. Smino has that artistry and became my favorite new artist lyrically, creatively, etc.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “No Effort” This song is special to me because of the meaning behind it. It combines one of my favorite poems by Maya Angelou with chords that are similar to Kendrick's "To Pimp A Butterfly". It's my soliloquy to the woman I love with all of my thoughts.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing at Apache Cafe. Fort Knox Live was hosting. He gave a speech before I got on the stage. I took my guitar and sang a sad song first. The I performed "Another One" and left the crowd speechless. They cheered like crazy when I was finished!
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There are a lot of things left on my bucket list. I would like to do an international tour performing my music. I'd like to conduct a symphony orchestra through an original composition. There's a lot!
