In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Sneaking into the shed to play with my Dad's records, getting caught and in big trouble for trying to scratch like I had seen on TV. I was always into rap any song that had rap on I was obsessed, but it wasn't until my teens that I discovered Hip Hop
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beastie Boys, Hello Nasty Massive Attack, Blue Lines (2012 Mix/Master) Wu-Tang Clan, Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) These three albums helped to forge and form my sound. The rawness of 36 Chambers, the kaleidoscope of sounds on Hello Nasty and the chilled vibes and British take on Hip Hop of Blue Lines were all massive influences for me.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Change Gonna Come (feat. Deej)” My first proper decent tune. This one was an anthem for me and my boys back in the day. Originally written & recorded in 2003 when I was 19, me & Deej re-recorded this version in a studio in London. Our first time in a proper studio & Deej smashed it
