Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember 1996 being the year I bought my first hip hop albums with my own money. I purchased Nas' "It Was Written" and Jay z's "Reasonable Doubt". It's not an accident that 1996 was also the year I wrote my first rhyme.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Nas, Illmatic To me, this is hip hop at its apex. A cohesive body of work, encompassing all the great attributes of a classic hip hop album. Storytelling, lyrical dexterity, break beats, soul samples, and a young man's hope in the midst of despair.

Bryce Jamel)” Devine Carama is a nationally renowned, 2022 Emmy Award-winning hip-hop artist & community activist from Lexington, KY. He is the new director of the Mayor of Lexington's youth gun violence reduction program, ONE Lexington.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Musically, Devine won an Emmy for a song featured on LEX-18 News & has worked with and/or opened up for acts such as Rakim, Big KRIT, J. Cole, Talib Kweli, Nappy Roots, LL Cool J, Black Eyed Peas, Canibus, De La Soul, Little Brother, & many more.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Devine looks forward to continuing using hip hop as a way to inspire the next generation to become the leaders of tomorrow!
