Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I knew mixtape 50 Cent lyrics before I knew English. Music has surrounded me my whole life. My mother would have to turn on Get Rich or Die Tryin so I wouldn't cry while she braided my hair as a toddler.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chief Keef, Thot Breaker JAY-Z, In My Lifetime, Vol. 1 Juelz Santana, From Me To U Volume 1 is arguably my favorite Hov album. Just some of the greatest verses ever spit to this day. Thot Breaker gave Chief Keef a whole new carve out of sound and content, and I know what it did for me when it came out being a HS kid in Chicago.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Oh Yes (feat. Pat Guwop)” This song was so special putting together with my brothers. We premiered it at a concert in Chicago and one in New York and got great crowd reactions both times. The people love this song and it just encapsulates what I think music should be.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of my most memorable moments in my career so far has to be playing my project Diamonds, Pearls and HoodRat Girls for Young Guru in the studio. Not only did he love my range of sounds and the content of the music but just reassuring me.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to do sold out Arena Tour(s). I want to live exclusively off my art. I want to be recognized as one of the greatest to ever do it
