About Indigo Saint
Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 7 my dad played me his favourite Vinyl collection. We listened fo what felt like days to The Eagles, The Beatles, The Jackson 5, Queen. After I had such a deep appreciation for music and the quality of the music made in the past.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Indigo Saint, The Blunt Eps John Coltrane, Sun Ship Nipsey Hussle, Victory Lap I think each of them define an Era in their respective genres and spaces. Nipsey was about the hustle and knowledge, Coltrane had an angle that was so unique in jazz and Indigo Saint is just a genius.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “The Last Sheet of Riz” This song is about healing and dealing with loss. In a world that's so fast paced we need moments in which we can pause and appreciate life in all of its nuances.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I performed at an event where when I started the crowd walked out of the room. The only people left were the staff working that night. I waited for the room to clear before I started and performed for the staff. Told them I was booked for them
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Lots. But first, I just want to connect with as many people as I can with my music. It's not about the stories I have to tell about myself, it's about learning about other people and telling their stories for them in music and lyrics.
