Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. On my 9th birthday, I was given a pink Barbie portable CD player and Alicia Key's 'Songs In A Minor'. I played that CD until it wouldn't work anymore. I paid attention to her harmonies, and sultry voice everyday. After that, I fell in love with R&B.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alicia Keys, Songs In A Minor (Deluxe Edition) Beyoncé, 4 (Expanded Edition) USHER, Confessions (Expanded Edition) These 3 albums for me, started, continued, and solidified my love for R&B. The artistry, attention to perfection, complexity in vocals and productions...These projects are continuously listened to even years later because of the quality.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Focus On Me” This was my first major single release. It got editorial placements, garnered a lot of attention on social media, and it was a proper display of my growth over the short 3 months from when I started creating music to releasing this single!
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I received a standing ovation alongside my choir in Carnegie Hall after a performance with John Rutter. Recently, since I began professionally creating and performing my own music, I received another standing ovation, and the feeling is incredible.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My biggest bucket list item as is that I want to go back to Carnegie Hall and perform as a solo artist, with my own original music for a full circle moment. Additionally, I aspire to perform as Madison Square Garden, and go on a world tour!!
