About Jack Savoretti
Artist Biography
English singer-songwriter Jack Savoretti picked up the guitar at age 14 when his mother suggested he set his prolific poetry collection to music.
∙ Savoretti invited Sienna Miller to duet on his 2012 single “Hate & Love,” after hearing the actress sing “These Boots Are Made for Walkin’” at a party.
∙ Thanks to an emotional performance of “Catapult” on The Graham Norton Show, his 2015 album, Written In Scars, reached the UK’s Top 10—more than a year after its release.
∙ He was asked to perform a cover song with Kylie Minogue for the film Halal Daddy but instead wrote the duet “Music’s Too Sad Without You,” which became a UK hit.
∙ “Touchy Situation,” from the chart-topping 2019 album Singing to Strangers, is based on a poem written by Bob Dylan, which Savoretti transformed with the legend’s blessing.
