In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was introduced too 90's hiphop by a childhood friend when i was about 8 or so and my life completely changed. I remember the week after I took my mums flip phone and I was playing beats from the laptop and rapping while recording them on her phone.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Eminem, The Marshall Mathers LP N.W.A, Straight Outta Compton The Weeknd, Trilogy In my opinion, the music on these three albums pushed the line in terms of the lyrical content and that is something that has been the most important to me from since I was a child. I love music that shocks and sparks conversation
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Hair Down, Stand Up” This song felt like it had a purpose. I wrote it for the people of Iran who are currently suffering. The impact it had was huge after it went viral and made me realise the importance of music and how it affects people.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The most memorable moment in my career so far has been performing "Hair Down, Stand Up" with my best friend and producer, Yekki on one of the largest TV networks in my country of origin.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There is so much I'm yet to achieve, the most important being touching more people with my work and making music that people relate to. Oh... and selling out Wembley would be cool too I guess.
