Artist Biography
Joining the ranks of Latin pop, Dominican-born singer Luisa credits her cultural background and musical influences such as Gloria Estefan, Ruben Blades, Santana, and Millie Quesada for sharpening her own tropical-fusion singing style. She already assumed her role in the entertainment industry early on, and at age 13 she wrote her first song. Later, complete with a 15-piece band, Luisa debuted with her self-titled release in summer 1999. ~ MacKenzie Wilson
