Luz Rios's Popular Music Videos
Artist Biography
One of ten siblings born into a musical family from Tlacotepec in Guerrero, México, Latin pop singer Luz Rios grew up in Cuernavaca, in the Mexican state of Morelos. The latter inspired the moniker Morelos Show, a family quintet where a teenaged Rios, accompanied by four of her siblings, played drums and sang lead vocals. After two years with the group, Rios received her siblings' blessing to go solo and, in 1999, issued her debut, Ayer, Hoy y Siempre, a collection of pop ballads. Rios' subsequent releases saw her trying her hand at pop (2002's De Mi Corazon), norteño music (2006's Luz Rios), and pop/rock (2008's Aire). ~ Andree Farias
