About Paddock Park
Artist Biography
Ocala, FL's Paddock Park were formed in 2007 but quickly graduated from rehearsal room to studio, courtesy of the friendly folks at Eulogy Recordings, who were impressed with the young band's capable (if hardly revolutionary) brand of emo-screamo hardcore. Released in the fall of 2008, their debut album, A Hiding Place for Fake Friends, was recorded by singer Jason Neil, screamer Brian Calzini, guitarists John Copeland and Timmy Brant, bassist Sanders Dukes, and drummer Bobby Scruggs, but the first two were soon ousted for a single frontman in Austin McAuley, while guitarist Copeland assumed co-lead vocals. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
