About Radiopuhelimet
Artist Biography
Formed after the break up of the Oulu, Finish-based noise rockers KTMK, Radiopuhelimet got together in 1987 with more of a straightforward, bass-driven punk approach that was inspired by the likes of Big Black and Scratch Acid. Debuting with the 1987 EP Sinappoa Ja Ketsuppia through Bad Vugum Records, Radiopuhelimet would eventually release a slew of records with the funding of various European and American labels. This full-length discography includes Rokkiräjähdys (1988), K.O. (1990), Pian, Pian (1991), Jäämeri (1992), Maasäteilyä (1995), Avaruus (1997), Hiljaista! (1998) and Oulu on Kaupungin Nimi (2000). ~ Mike DaRonco
