In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was in elementary school, we had a new music teacher who created a school song for us. A friend and I decided to flip it into a rap. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? J. Cole, 2014 Forest Hills Drive Lauryn Hill, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill WHATUPRG, NEW HOLLYWOOD 2014 Forest Hills Drive made me fall in love with Hip-Hop and made me want to rap. Miseducation made me fall in deeper love with music. New Hollywood expanded my vision on what Christian music could sound like, and who I could be as an artist.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “No Use” No Use is one of my favorite songs because of the flow I was in when I wrote it. Everything came together so perfectly, it was just one of those moments. The song came together to give words to a story I'd been wanting to tell, but didn't know how.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My release of "A Gift To You", my debut mixtape exclusively on SoundCloud and YouTube. I had just left my corporate job, and releasing a mixtape was a lifelong dream. December 28th, 2022 will forever be the most important moment of my career.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'm not gonna lie, I haven't even scratched the surface.
