About Rich Lucky
Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My Dad playing Duane Eddy records to me when I was a kid. My first gig was Depeche Mode in London. As a teenager, The Smiths came along and opened my eyes to and song-writing.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Sex Pistols, Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols Spiritualized, Everything Was Beautiful The Smiths, The Queen Is Dead The Queen is Dead - I totally resonate with it; the lyrics, the guitar, everything. Everything Was Beautiful - Whenever it's on, I can't turn it off. It puts me in a place that I like. Never Mind The Bollocks - Still refreshing.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Don't Forget Desmond Behan” It's about my best friend Desmond Behan. We grew up and watched each others bands, ended up being in a band together, writing songs...a really, really special person - I miss him terribly.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? There are too many moments and times to recall. But being with good people in a band, creating music, recording it, and then opening up for all to see.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Would like to gig/tour with my current music. But I am constantly achieving my ambition, by writing and releasing music.
