Artist Biography
Suicide Silence is a deathcore group from Riverside, California, founded in 2002.
∙ The band’s first LP, 2007’s The Cleansing, was a breakthrough that remains one of metal label Century Media Records’ best-selling debuts.
∙ In 2009, Suicide Silence performed at metal magazine Revolver’s inaugural Golden Gods Awards and won Best New Talent honors.
∙ The Black Crown, their 2012 full-length, featured the hit single “You Only Live Once,” as well as a guest appearance from Korn singer Jonathan Davis.
∙ After frontman Mitch Lucker’s death, they released 2014’s Ending Is the Beginning: The Mitch Lucker Memorial Show, with guest vocalists from Lamb of God, As I Lay Dying, and Mudvayne.
∙ You Can’t Stop Me—the band’s first album featuring frontman Hernan “Eddie” Hermida—became their biggest release, reaching No. 16 on the Billboard 200 in 2014.
