About The Glass Passenger
Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The most distinct memory I have was the first time I heard Switchfoot’s song “Needle and Haystack Life” back when I was in kindergarten. From the moment I heard that opening guitar chord, I knew I wanted to play guitar too.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jon Bellion, Glory Sound Prep Switchfoot, Hello Hurricane (Deluxe Version) The Dear Hunter, Act IV: Rebirth in Reprise 3 very different albums that each greatly influenced my music. “Hello Hurricane” with its wide open sound and songwriting, “Act IV” with its orchestration and masterful storytelling, and “Glory Sound Prep” with its left-turn pop experimentation.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Skin and Bones” This song felt special from the very beginning. It’s one that starts in a very dark and lonely place and stretches its arms out to the light. It’s personal, but simultaneously universal. This is probably my favorite song I’ve released so far.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Making the “State of Mind” EP in a week was really fun. I remember how proud and relieved I was when I exported the final master at exactly midnight on the final day. That was a fun project, who knows, I might try it again someday.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have a lot of plans for the future… lots more music to be made and stories to be told. I’ve been dropping hints at this stuff from the beginning. It might take decades to do, but I’d say finally releasing this stuff is on my musical bucket list.
