About The Radio Field
Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Aged 16 there was not much impressing me more than the guitar play of J. Marr and T. Garel-Funk. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Subterfuge, Dots. The Cure, Seventeen Seconds (Deluxe Edition) The Smiths, The Queen Is Dead Great recordings that show how variable guitars can be used in good music.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Years Ago” It only takes enough boredom and a musical instrument to create something good. We were in lockdown and social media work had reminded me a lot of the heyday of my musical socialisation: C86, early Creation, US College Rock. This is what came out...
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Releasing the debut Simple EP and friends and dear musicians approaching me to form a band from what was originally planned as as home recording outlet.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Lots of stuff: Play a live show (booked for August), release an album (scheduled for August), play abroad (in discussions for December)
