Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Piano is not the first instrument I learned. In 4th grade we had the opportunity to pick a band instrument. I wanted the trumpet but when it came my turn to choose there weren't any left, so I chose the trombone since the slide seemed kinda cool.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chuck Mangione, Feels So Good Jeff Lorber, It's a Fact Weather Report, Heavy Weather These three albums have songs that I used to go to bed listening to on the radio stations "Quiet Storm" hour. Songs like Tierra Verde, Birdland, and Feels So Good are part of my contemporary jazz roots. Jeff Lorber is one of my mnusic idols.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Siesta Revisited” Siesta Revisited is one of my personal favorites. It was originally written in the 90's. I almost didn't add it to this album because I no longer had the keyboards that it was written with. So, I had to recreate the sounds using my new studio setup.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Stepping out and finally producing my first album. I decided to do it just before the Covid outbreak and almost waited to release it, but I am glad I did since I have gotten great reviews from fans that say it was relaxing head bobbing music.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Absolutely, would love to sit in with my church's youth choir or main sanctuary bands. I have played for church choirs before but have not had the opportunity to do so at my church. The musicians there blow my socks off with their talent and skill.
