About WUNDERCHILD.
Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memory was playing with my parents' CDs and cassettes. As a child, I did not have as many toys, and so I spent a lot of time playing the CDs and cassettes at home. It was through this experience that I was inspired to make music.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? BLK ODYSSY, BLK VINTAGE: THE REPRISE Bugzy Malone, The Resurrection Q, Soul,PRESENT These albums have directly or indirectly influenced my creative approach to making music. I have taken elements of these albums and incorporated them into my own music. As a producer, I find inspiration in the production behind these albums.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Party in Harare (feat. Morgan Dzinyanga)” This song took me about a year to make. I tend to forgo projects if I don't pay attention to them for a long time, but this one stood out. The song reflects a unique aspect aspect of my identity; the guitar sound of the 'Sungura' genre from Zimbabwe.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My current wish is to one day collaborate with Pharrell Williams. Another artist I would love to collaborate with is Alicia Keys.
