Artist Biography
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. In the car growing up, artists like Zain Bhikha, Yusuf Islam and Talib Al Habib were a staple for any journey, no matter how long or short. I remember always being in awe with how good they sounded and it inspired me to ultimately make nasheeds!
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Essam, Eid Mubarak (feat. Akhi Abu, Zak Ym & Ilyas Mao) - Single Ilyas Mao, Rabbana (feat. Omar Esa) - Single Omar Esa, Omar Esa: Islamic Nasheeds I have a lot of respect for artists like Omar Esa, Essam, Ilyas Mao that also only use vocals and no instruments, it is a lot harder to make quality like that but it's the best way to go islamically.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Mercy To Mankind” Mercy To Mankind is very important to me because in an era when young people need role models to look up to, there is no better role model than our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW. The title of the song references 21:07 of the Qur'an.
What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The most memorable moments to me will always be my nephews and nieces being my biggest supporters, always talking about their uncle's songs and wanting to hear it in the car endlessly! That is my motivation, and to also show the beauty of Islam.
Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? As a medical student, my main goal with releasing songs is being consistent.
