Producer and engineer Stephen Street made his name in the late ‘80s working with The Smiths and Morrissey, with whom he developed the clean, punchy sound that launched a thousand indie bands. That approach served him well during the rise of Britpop, when he worked with Blur and Kaiser Chiefs, and kept him in demand with the modern bands who grew up on his recordings on both sides of the Atlantic.
