Starting in 2013 as a studio-based project in Ahmedabad, Aswekeepsearching are naturals at sculpting cinematic soundscapes through impeccably toned, crystalline guitars and effects. The band have since grown into an electrifying live act, too, sharing stages with the likes of prog legend Steven Wilson with their sweeping post-rock anthems. And their records capture that scope. Hypnotic arpeggios intertwine with a Robert Fripp-esque lead on “And Then Came Spring”. Elsewhere, the dreamlike “Aas Paas” pairs neo-classical piano with the transcendent sarangi, a traditional Indian instrument.
