Helsinki rockers Happoradio ("acid radio" in Finnish) epitomise Scandinavian pop-rock with their alternative sensibilities and American punk-rock ethos. Led by charismatic frontman Aki Tykki, who also serves as guitarist and the band's primary songwriter, they craft catchy hooks with rousing choruses delivered in their native Finnish. Happoradio's hits include the melodious “Pois Kalliosta”, laden with heavy guitars and a throbbing bassline—and 2008's "Che Guevara", with its eminently danceable groove.
