Singer-rapper Julinho Ksd struck a chord in 2019 when he drew on his Cape Verdean roots on a slew of hit tracks, giving voice to resonant experiences in the outskirts of Lisbon. Pairing hazy electronics, dancehall, R&B and Afrobeats with rhymes in Creole, Portuguese and English, he catapulted his spirited style into the mainstream with his first LP, 2021’s Sabi na Sabura.
