Aydilge introduced herself as a compelling voice in Turkish pop with her debut LP Küçük Şarkı Evreni in 2006. Infusing rock sensibilities with beguiling Middle Eastern strings, she made her mark as an artist who is relatable, but unafraid to think outside the box. She went on to sing Balkan-inspired themes for popular TV dramas like Kiralık Aşk and artfully cover Turkish pop diva Sezen Aksu. Trading idiosyncratic riffs for catchy melodies, the singer-songwriter also unleashes her vocal chops in romantic ballads, like on the aching duet with Halil Sezai, “Aşk Yüzünden”.
