Eva Longoria: My Land of Women Playlist
Playlist - 25 Songs
Eva Longoria stars in the Apple TV+ series Land of Women, a six-episode dramedy inspired by Sandra Barneda’s best-selling novel La tierra de las mujeres. Land of Women tells the story of Gala, a New York socialite forced to flee to a charming Spanish wine town with her mother and daughter. She finds herself navigating small-town quirks while confronting her deepest family secrets—and a pair of bumbling hitmen. Longoria has created this playlist to remember her time in Spain shooting the show. “I asked the crew, ‘What song will remind you of this time together?’—because we were there in Spain shooting for six months—and so everybody from the crew gave me their suggestions,” she tells Apple Music. “We were just listening to music every day, in hair and makeup and on set. I still play it all the time. It really gets me in the Land of Women mood.” Read about a few of her favourite tracks below, and if you hear something you like, add it to your library. And don’t miss Land of Women—streaming now on Apple TV+. Bizarrap & Shakira, “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53” “Our anthem of this whole journey was Shakira’s song ‘Bzrp’—the one about her ex. The crazy thing is, we were shooting in Barcelona, which is [Gerard] Piqué’s country, and that is the ex she’s talking about on the song. It was just such a female empowerment anthem—we played it every day. My son knows all the words to the song, and he’s six.” Miley Cyrus, “Flowers” “Another empowering song. ‘Flowers’ came out while we were shooting, and Victoria Bazúa (who plays my daughter on the show) and I would sing it all the time. We’d do TikToks to it. It was really fun.” ROSALÍA, “DESPECHÁ” and “BIZCOCHITO” “I love both ‘DESPECHÁ’ and ‘BIZCOCHITO’. She happens to be from Barcelona as well. I was just gravitating toward all of these Spanish artists from that region. These songs were just really popping at that time.”
