LABOUM arrived in 2014 with the hit single "Pit-a-Pat", an explosion of cheerleader chants, a rapped bridge, choral harmonies and bubbly, singalong playfulness. The ensemble has since issued several collections of buoyant, effervescent K-pop. Their 2017 hit "Hwi Hwi" is vintage LABOUM, with cheery whistling that gives way to a funk-lite bass kick and epic hooks, with every voice chiming in. On "Shooting Love" they spark a party with "hey!" shouts, thumping electronic arrangements and a chance for each member to vocally shine.
