Since releasing his major label debut album Space Shout in 2015, Ksuke has become one of his homeland’s most popular EDM exports, with the honour of being ranked the number one Japanese DJ by DJ Mag. He veers from open-hearted, buoyant EDM with sunny synths and gratifying bass drops, as on “WE ARE YOUR FRIENDS”, to wrangled, heads-down-and-rave dubstep exemplified by “HIGHER”. He has also adapted his serene synth arrangements to fit guest vocalists, with the SALU-featuring “Pool (remix)” a marriage of EDM euphoria and mumble rap cool.
