I travel in circles I'm writing these poems and lyrics I feel like I'm lost Been too long it's taking tolls on me mentally Wonder what did it all cost Maybe I should take a break Maybe a getaway to clear the fog Whenever I feel afraid I like to go to a place that will keep me safe Not give me demons or harm My mind is ticking It's so persistent I wrestle all of my thoughts My mind is twisted I'm full on grippin The monster claws at the walls yeah I might be caught in the deep end I might be swimming too far Just know that I've always been swimming with sharks And know that I've always had friends in the dark I'm not as alone as you think My world is filled with the darkest things I'm not as alone as you think My world is filled with the darkest things I'm livin my nightmares I'm tryna be hopeful that one day they'll go So where can you find me? I'm lost in a dream, and I'm lost in its hold Cause I have been searching for my own way out No doors and no exits I'm looking around I'm in the rough water now In the deep finding out I'm swimming but there is just nowhere to go I swim in the current to my own a peril My mind can wonder and sometimes get feral The baggage I'm holding is never so shallow I'm swimming in waters too deep My mind is a shootout between me and me Cause all of my demons are packing in heat And no I ain't running when something is coming When something is after my soul no I'm not as alone as you think My world is filled with the darkest things I'm not as alone as you think My world is filled with the darkest things Lookin at all bad weather ahead Traveled a path I was misled Now filled with voices inside of my head They giving me stress I'm on my last leg I'm counting my steps But know I will press I'll give it my all And give it my best So just take a note That when I'm provoked I'm rocking the boat Ill go for the throat I got nothing left I can lose Watch me go all out I fill out these boots Fuck it and fuck you if you don't think I can make it Yeah this is the road that I choose I wash in my sins now I'm bathing in red I didn't expect these disguises these monsters Were hiding right under my bed They ended up demons I thought they were friends So now I know that I'm raised by the monsters and demons That live in the shadows and live in the deep Raised by the darkness and born in the heat Part of the pack of the wolves and the beasts Travel this journey and swim out with me Find all the monsters that live in the sea Find in the dark all the friends that you seek
