Uh Turn me up Yeah (We take a different angle) In a world so loud where extroverts prevail In the shadows I find strength (Talk to 'em) Lock me up in a room I don't care what's going on These interactions roll up into paranoid thoughts Anxiety's a beast cause all you're thinking about Are scenarios in your head and how your words will come out I'm battling my demons trying to keep 'em at bay Introverted tendencies they're not fading away I guess it's who I am or I'm screwed in the mind Just can't leave it behind like the moon in the sky (Moon in the sky) Give me some space so I can recharge I'll disappear for a few and just hide in the car It's like a sanctuary that I didn't know I needed It's time to preach it, not all of us like people I just wanna be alone All I want is some peace I just wanna be alone All I want is to breathe Recurring thoughts make you a nervous man They're inside taking up space like the Kirkland brand But I'd rather stay at home that's how I work through the pain It's a dangerous fucking hurricane circling the brain I'm self-medicated so I'll die of old age The mic is my therapist I'll keep the co-pay Under pressure to socialize and it feels like a sin But you want it both ways 'cause you wanna fit in Mind's racing worry chasing is making you drown All the problems seem bigger in your bed laying down My calendar fills up but I said I'm not going Haven't felt right in years we can blame it on long Covid The way I'm wired is glitchy like stop motion And y'all need to accept that these feelings are hard coded I'm self-aware and that's better than not knowing Going for broke shit cause these words won't stop flowing I just wanna be alone All I want is some peace I just wanna be alone (Wanna be alone y'all) All I want is to breathe (Just to breathe)
