First things first, gotta live in the present You can't be stuck in the future cause all you got is the now Better look on in the mirror then you'll see a bit clearer Self-reflection is the best way to improve somehow And think for yourself, don't seek approval from others Stay close to your fam, your lovers and brothers They the only ones that got your back through the thick and thin And no woman's gonna love you like your mother that's just how it is So meditate, skydive, see the world Go to college, but don't forget to have a little fun Make mistakes, get a dog, write a song, hit the bong Then pass it along, man, two puffs and it's gone Don't drink to escape, drink to celebrate Everything in moderation, life will be great And welcome others to your life with open arms And comparison you know can only cause you harm So go up to the girl, take your shot, ask her out Ditch the apps, smell the roses, you'll meet her in person Build your net worth, while looking for a partner Follow intuition, ain't no need to rehearse it What's an empire, if you don't got a queen What's the point of a life, if you live it alone Sleeping around ain't gon fill the holes Would give my weight up in gold to have a hand to hold And nothing good, ever comes from anger Instead seek understanding, life won't work out how you planned it And don't judge another cause you ain't in they shoes And you gotta be thankful for the life that you choose Truly money can help, but at what cost Doing what you love really makes you the boss And when you make it to the top be sure to give back Cause a dollar ain't shit when your soul is lost So run a marathon, life weights, Eat clean, eat steak Cause fitness really is the cornerstone of health And it's true man what they say, yeah, your health is your wealth Don't base your views, off religion or a party Better never stop learning, always more to see And don't be afraid to go and ask for help Cause we're stronger together, help each other succeed There's no perfect city, there's no perfect person There's no perfect life, there's no perfect day There's no perfect way to go about it cause we all human Meaning we all flawed, and we learn every way Just do your best, build a fam with some kids Only regret, things that you never did So go make the most, of the time you've been giving And enjoy the ride on the life you've been living
