Pariisin Kevät was originally a vibrant indie rock solo project launched in 2008 by the honey-voiced Arto Tuunela. The project grew into a six-piece in the wake of their Top Five 2010 hit “Tämän Kylän Poikii”, with the expanded band better placed to bring Tuunela's space-rock sonics to the world. If “Pikku Huopalahti” and the title track from 2008's Meteoriitti album capture the New Wave itch of Arto's solo period, tracks like “Kesäyö” from their third album Kaikki On Satua are the sound of a band evolving grandiose rock ambitions as glacial as their homeland.
