I kept thinking to myself she was supposed to be the one The one I was to marry, and the one to have my son I thought that we would be together through whatever obstacle Make impossible possible, unite and be unstoppable She didn't feel the same way, she was scared of the commitment Due to the inefficient relationships that she had witnessed But I wasn't like them other dudes making deceiving promises How was she to know? There was no way to put a stop to this Yet I didn't let go, had to prove that I was interested She still didn't believe, after all the time I invested Like "why you being nice to me? Why you treat me like a queen?"
