Staring in the face of animosity
Disarray befalling
How much can one give before
Disappearing altogether?
A stinging urgency to erupt
Is growing wildly
Tearing me from instinct
Is the grasp of the need to evade
Lest i am forever to become
One with this reflection
It is clear that i've been feeding
From this poison gland for far too long
Images of the past are bleeding over me
They will not let me forget
The wretched history of my creation
And so it happens
Once again i am sinking heavily
Back to the place from whence i came
There is no question
This is never-ending
This is part of me
I'll never be rid of it
Never be rid of it
How much of one can be given
Before all that they are disappears?
