Beyond the darkness I watch my creation
As fires burn and humans scream
All life looks on in horror
This is the day my planet died
It was so perfect then, when the atmosphere moved and the center boiled
Turning on it rests perfectly from nearest star
The life forms grew healthy as the turning went on
Then one species emerged as the dominant force and threatened the balance
It couldn't last
The species took control, overpopulated and started consuming
The perfection was ruined and the countdown began
Draining the liquid throughout the ground beneath them
The caves and caverns lost strength and started to implode
The ground sand they screamed
Down they fell
Murdered by the earth
The fourth cycle of cleansing
My planet will not survive
Magma takes over the crust engulfing all living things
Explosions from pockets of pressure
Begin the combustion
Begin the end
So proud I am of my planet
Quite a long time for a ball of water and dirt
Too bad it was infected
It was contaminating the rest
