I've always thought about the questions in my mind
I'm always searching for the answers to the rhymes
Just where we come from and just where will we go
How should I spend my life I really need to know
With every rising and setting of the shining sun
My life gets shorter and soon it will be done
I've got to find out just who I really am
I want to know myself, I need to understand
Who made the universe
And floats the stars in outer space
Who fills the singer's voice
And weaves the dancers' moves with grace
Who turns the wheels of time
These are the questions in my mind
For every question there's an answer I can find
When someone hears the truth the mysteries unwind
But there's a quality that I still have to learn
If I want to know the truth the answers must be earned
And so the story goes I'm coming to the phase
I must find humility there is no other way
To receive the knowledge that I'm looking hard to find
I want to know the answers to the questions in my mind
