Yeah Everyday I wake up giving thanks to the spirits For the blessings I have received For the blessings still to come For the troubles I have over come And for the troubles that have fortunately passed me by There are lessons that i have taken from theses experiences For we all have those who Make us laugh Make us cry Make us feel loved And those that leave us with the emotional scars of deceit The list The choices you make are those That could either make a way for those you love Or be a hindrance to them Because everything that glitters ain't Gold In other words Those same people you think you can see through That tell you they love you And make you believe, too Could be the same ones that snake and deceive you There are also those who would fall face first at your feet Just to reach you They wanna eat, too But poor use of gained power could leave them beneath you The list The good, the bad, the righteous, the evil The loving, the caring, the spiteful and vindictive The 'ups and downs' that say that you are you Strong body Beautiful mind Free spirit The list
